Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada – If you’re looking to escape the shopping mall crowds and find gifts made by local companies and artisans, check out the West Coast Christmas Show & Marketplace on November 17 to 19, 2017 at the TRADEX Trade and Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford, BC. Over two hundred vendors, including over 140 select artisans will offer items for your friends and loved ones, items not found in the usual mall outlets.

The BC Artisan Marketing Society’s
SHARING TREE
In co-operation with
ARTISAN, SHARON HUBBARD 
To benefit the local charitable organizations participating in
the FESTIVAL OF TREES
For a minimum donation of $5 you may write a card and place it on one of the Share Trees and keep one of the artisan’s handmade ornaments from the tree as a keepsake of your contribution.

Chef Thompson Tran – Grammy Award Nominee, 2010
In 2002 Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar and spent several years performing around Western Canada. Four years later he took a two-year hiatus from cooking to pursue a musical dream that culminated in a Grammy Award nomination in 2010.

In Santa’s Workshop

Santa’s helpers are ready to help children decorate and take home their very own free Christmas cookie baked fresh by our chefs in Santa’s Workshop.

CN’s Operation Lifesaver will be conducting interactive, playful safety lessons on Safety on/near Railway property for Children to Adults

Kids can write their own letter to Santa and post the letter direct in his own Santa’s Mailbox, right here at the show in Santa’s Workshop.

Kids, and adults will marvel at the intricate HO Scale model train layout and working model trains on the huge track,  set up by the Southern BC Free-Mo model train enthusiasts.  And of course:

Why not start a new family tradition and join Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday morning for a great pancake breakfast!  There will be gifts and prizes, entertainment and pictures with Santa, followed by a unique shopping experience and children’s activities in Santa’s Workshop and much, much more.

The 10th Annual West Coast Christmas Show & Artisan Marketplace launches on November 17-19, 2017 at TRADEX Exhibition Center, Abbotsford, BC.

The West Coast Christmas Show & Marketplace is Western Canada’s leading holiday season show that brings together holiday gifts, fancy foods, artisan creations, decor ideas, festive culinary presentations and floral demonstrations, all under one roof.

The West Coast Christmas Show, a three day shopping extravaganza visited by over 18,000 holiday shoppers each year features over 200 vendors – of which 140 are artisans. The show features live presentations to meet the needs of visitors’ holiday entertaining, decorating and gift giving. Family entertainment is provided by live Christmas music performed by local bands, choirs and carolers plus a huge working model train setup. In Santa’s Workshop children may write letters to Santa and decorate their own fresh baked Christmas cookie. Triumph Acrobatic will be on site all 3 days in Santa’s workshop to demonstrate and work with children through circus arts such as aerials, tumbling and trampoline. Pictures with Santa & Mrs. Clause, of course.

As you enter through a huge array of fresh plants, floral and holiday decor for your home to the sounds of live Christmas music, you will discover new ideas and products for holiday gift shopping, entertaining and home decorating.

You’ll find hand-made doll clothing, seasonal hand-made ornaments, hand painted silk scarves, up-cycled table decor, beard balm, craft spirits, artisan fudges, lollipops and marshmallows,hand crafted doll furniture, personalized ornaments and gifts, Christmas lanterns, paintings, sculptures, blown glass decor, hand crafted trendy baby and children’s accessories, reclaimed wood furniture, gluten free treats, artisan baked goods, cottonwood carvings, macraméand much more such as repurposed vintage goods, fashions and home furniture and accessories.

The Home For The Holidays Stage will feature numerous talented local chefs and designers who will offer great hands on demonstrations and ideas for your holiday cooking, entertaining, floral designs and seasonal home décor ideas.
