Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada – If you’re looking to escape the shopping mall crowds and find gifts made by local companies and artisans, check out the West Coast Christmas Show & Marketplace on November 18 to 20, 2016 at the TRADEX Trade and Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford, BC. Over two hundred vendors, including over 140 select artisans will offer items for your friends and loved ones, items not found in the usual mall outlets.

To benefit the local charitable organizations participating in
the FESTIVAL OF TREES
For a minimum donation of $5 you may write a card and place it on one of the Share Trees and keep one of the artisan’s handmade ornaments from the tree as a keepsake of your contribution.

Chef Thompson Tran – Grammy Award Nominee, 2010
In 2002 Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar and spent several years performing around Western Canada. Four years later he took a two-year hiatus from cooking to pursue a musical dream that culminated in a Grammy Award nomination in 2010.

In Santa’s Workshop
The youngest entrepreneurs in the West Coast Christmas Show, Calla & Noelle were only 7 and 9 years old when with the help of their mother, Kathi of the Li’l Ol’ Craft Company started a letter writing to Santa service for all the little kids visiting the Christmas Show and wanting to get a wish list sent off to Santa Claus.

Now aged 10 and 12, Calla & Noel are back for the fourth year at the West Coast Christmas Show and headlining the activities taking place in Santa’s Workshop of children’s activities which include, in addition the Letters to Santa provided by the two girls, Christmas Cookie Decorating, model plane making and Sand-Art creating.

The 9th Annual West Coast Christmas Show & Artisan Marketplace launches on November 18-20, 2016

The  West Coast Christmas Show, a three day consumer event visited by over 17,000 holiday shoppers each year  features over 200 vendors and live presentations to meet the needs of visitors’ holiday entertaining, decorating and gift giving.  Family entertainment is provided by live Christmas music performed by local bands, choirs and carolers plus a huge working model train setup. In Santa’s Workshop children may learn model making, create their own sand-art, write letters to Santa, decorate their own fresh baked Christmas cookie and there will be story time by local children’s book writers..  Pictures with Santa, of course.

The West Coast Christmas Show & Marketplace is Western Canada’s leading holiday season show that brings together holiday gifts, fancy foods, personal services, decor ideas, festive seminars and culinary presentations under one roof.

Entering through a huge array of fresh plants, floral and holiday decor for your home to the sounds of live Christmas music, you will discover new ideas and products for holiday gift shopping, entertaining and home decorating among the multitude of vendors offering unique and hard to find gift items both from artisans as well as unique manufacturers.
